A Space for Reassurance and Support

Therapy for Therapist and Coach

Helping Professionals Need Some Help

  • You might be a therapist who is passionate about serving others to improve their wellness that you put yourself last and you forget to take care of yourself.

  • You might be a social worker with a big heart helping underserved communities, yet you may be feeling isolated from your own community.

  • You might be a coach who is eager to guide people to achieve their goals and dreams, yet you are always anxious and stressed out worrying about your own goals and dreams.

  • You might be a teacher or educator who loves to share your wisdom and knowledge, but you might be burnt out and feeling tired and unmotivated.

For us helping professionals, self-sacrifice and burnout are common narratives. Why? Because we are naturally focused on other’s success and wellness and we tend to let our own health and wellness slip.

I’m glad you are checking this page out because that means you care about yourself and want to do something about it.

Whether you are a therapist, social worker, or coach, you’re in the field because you are committed to making a difference in this world. Your everyday work is to help improve people’s lives. Your work helps others overcome their challenges and promotes better quality of life. You are offering opportunities for people to learn and grow as a person. It is such empowering work. In the meantime, I understand how hard it can be to focus on your own quality of life because of the special work you do everyday.

As much as you get excited to see other people thrive, holding yourself accountable for your own wellness can be the most difficult thing when you already have a lot on your plate for someone else. Burnout, lack of boundaries, lack of support… you name it. You live side by side with these risks despite your meaningful work.

If you are doubting if these are unique issues to you, I would like to reassure you. It is not only your problem. I’ve been there. That’s why I believe a strong support system, self-management, self-care, and healing work are must for us helping professionals.

Why I love working with helping professionals

I have been working with therapists and coaches since 2021. I am also providing supervision to trainee therapists and social workers since 2022 to help them grow as a professional.

I enjoy working with them because I can connect with their passion and mission as well as their everyday struggles, and we get to learn from each other.
